“Sorry I slept with the au pair” is an experimental work with a conceptual background. The focus is on intellectual exchange. A pearl necklace - a symbol of elegance and sophistication - meets the message of a sarcastic “Sorry” and confronts a scandalous act. Placed on the suitcase, the work becomes an associative extension that involves the owner and turns art into a performance. The suitcase is made to order, can be securely locked, and is easy to move with 360° castors. The work is printed on canvas and enclosed in a protective Plexiglas cover, creating a flexible, rollable art object.
